Common Search Strategies
Boolean Logic
- Use AND/OR/NOT to narrow and broaden searches as needed.
Example: nursing profession AND ethical issues
Truncation
- Use an asterik or other designated sympbol to truncate (or shorten) your search terms to their root(s) to broaden your search.
Example: health* (Finds the following: health, healthcare, healthy, etc.)
